Scope and contact
This policy describes information handling for the KozyDoku game and this website. Support is provided by the KozyDoku team. Contact support@kozydoku.app for privacy questions or access, correction and deletion requests. Do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Game data on your device
The game stores progress, scores, check-in history, items, language, audio and reminder preferences on your device. Uninstalling or clearing app data may remove these records; system backups may retain separate copies. Rankings may include computer-generated opponents. You do not need to send your entire save file to contact support.
Advertising and third-party services
Versions with advertising use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), including rewarded ads. The SDK can process IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, app interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. IP addresses may also indicate approximate location. Personalized advertising depends on region, available consent flows, device settings and provider configuration. Google processes this information under its privacy policy linked below. On iOS, the app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before the ad SDK may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you allow tracking, Google may use that identifier for personalized ads and measurement. If you do not allow it, the advertising identifier is not accessed and ads are not personalized. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Notifications, permissions and feedback
The app may provide reminders with your permission. You can disable notifications and adjust tracking or advertising permissions in system settings. Disabling optional permissions does not require more personal information. If you email support, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send, for responding and troubleshooting. Remove unnecessary device information before sending.
Website hosting
Cloudflare delivers this website and may process IP address, requested URL, browser information and access time for delivery, security and operational logs. The only cookie this website sets is a first-party cookie that remembers your language choice; it is not used for tracking, advertising or analytics and is not shared with anyone. To count page visits, this website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting. The website runs no advertising scripts and does not track visitors across apps or websites. The marketing pages do not require an account. Tutorial videos use privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds (youtube-nocookie.com): loading or playing an embedded video connects to Google/YouTube, which may process device, network and viewing information under its own privacy policy.
Use, sharing and retention
We use information received to provide the game and support, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. Advertising and hosting providers process data for the purposes described above. Necessary information may also be disclosed as required by law or to protect lawful interests. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet obligations; no single fixed retention period is promised. Local records are managed through your device and backup settings.
Your choices and requests
You can change app preferences and system permissions, stop using the app or clear local app data. Clearing local data does not automatically delete emails already sent or information held by third parties. Contact support to request access, correction, deletion, restricted processing or withdrawal of consent concerning information we hold. We handle requests as applicable and may verify your identity. Google ad preferences and system privacy settings provide controls for third-party processing.
Children and international processing
The game is for a general audience. Minors should use it with guidance from a guardian. Guardians can contact support if a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected. Providers may process data outside your location under the safeguards described in their policies.
Security and updates
We use reasonable measures to protect information we process, but no internet transmission or device storage is absolutely secure. We update this page and its date when features or processing change, and provide additional notice or seek consent when required.
No game account or cloud save
The current game does not require registration or offer a user account or cloud-save service. Progress, settings, items and check-in records are stored on your device rather than in a player-account database we operate. Website tutorials run in the browser and do not upload your board moves to us. Contacting support creates separate correspondence that you can request to delete.
Advertising consent and permission controls
The game uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s consent-management flow where required. Where the in-game Privacy options entry is available, reopen it in Settings to change advertising consent. You can also manage advertising and tracking permissions in iOS or Android system settings. Optional notifications can be disabled there. We do not request your contacts, microphone, camera or precise location for puzzle play. Denying an optional permission does not remove access to basic puzzle play; network-based ads or rewards may be unavailable.
Retention and deletion
Local saves remain until you reset or clear the app data, uninstall the app, or your device removes them; separate operating-system backups follow your backup settings. We retain support correspondence only as reasonably necessary to handle the request, follow-up, security or legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Provider logs and ad data follow the provider’s published retention rules. To request deletion of information we hold, email support@kozydoku.app with the subject “KozyDoku privacy request”. Tell us which correspondence or data is involved. We may ask for limited verification, handle requests within applicable legal deadlines, and explain any legally required retention. Clearing your device does not delete provider data or an email you already sent.
Legal grounds and privacy rights
Where applicable, processing relies on providing the requested service, legitimate interests in support and security, legal obligations, or consent for optional processing. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. Withdrawal does not change prior lawful processing. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority. We do not sell support correspondence or local game saves. Advertising providers may process identifiers for advertising; available opt-out rights and consent controls depend on your region.
